Greyhounds love to sleep. In fact, they'll sleep for up to 20 hours a day! They're renowned for being incredibly lazy dogs, which isn't entirely fair as they're actually conserving their energy so that they can play later (sometimes in their pyjamas).

Most people believe that as ex-racers, greyhounds need a lot of exercise. Although they can run up to 72km/hr, they are actually quite a lazy dog. Most only need around 30-45 minutes of exercise daily, they are happy lounging around and napping all day.
