Wandering ascarids may reach abnormal situations when they migrate through the ampulla of Vater causing biliary obstruction with cholangitis and/or pancreatic necrosis. Wandering ascarids occasionally pass from the nose or the mouth during vomiting.
What causes worms to come out from the mouth?
, either intentionally or accidentally, in contaminated food or water. In these cases, worms have been found in the mucosal tissues of the lips, cheek, tongue, tonsils, gums, and occasionally esophagus.
Can worms come out your throat?
Roundworms (Ascariasis) Roundworms are common in warm places where there's poor sanitation. When a person swallows roundworm eggs, the worms hatch in the intestines. The young worms then go to the lungs. After a week or two, the worms go to the throat and often get swallowed again.

The first sign of an infection might be seeing a live worm in your vomit or poop. If the larvae have traveled to your lungs, you may get a sickness similar to pneumonia, with: Wheezing. Cough.
Can you cough up worms?
After maturing, the roundworms leave your lungs and travel to your throat. You'll either cough up or swallow the roundworms in your throat. The worms that are swallowed will travel back to your intestine. Once they're back in your intestine, the worms will mate and lay more eggs.
