While it's true that dogs need a protein-heavy diet and that they are carnivores by nature, living on a meat-only diet can really damage your dog's health. With just meat, your dog could be missing out on lots of vitamins and supplemental nutrients. If your dog's diet isn't right for him, look out for bowel issues. 20 февр. 2018 г.
Is it bad for dogs to eat only meat?
“Dogs require certain essential amino acids in their diets, and some proteins provide more value than others,” adds Dr. Klein. “Meat does provide all of those amino acids, but many plant proteins do not. However, a diet consisting solely of meat products will not meet all of your dog's dietary requirements.”
What meat can I feed my dog everyday?
Take any meat (chicken, beef, lamb, pork, whatever) minced or diced. Grate vegetables into it (anything but potato) so that it is roughly 2/3 meat and 1/3 vegetable (you can put the vegetable through the food processor if you have one). Get some meaty bones from the butcher and give your dog one every day or two.
