Can you overdose a dog on Wormer?

Toxicity can occur if a dog is given an excessive dose of the medication (10 to 20 times the recommended dose). Additionally, certain dogs are genetically hypersensitive to the medication. In these dogs, ivermectin can pass directly to the brain and be toxic or even lethal.

Can deworming be fatal?

A child can go through deworming on a regular basis to get the intestinal worms removed. If the worms are not removed, they can multiply and lay eggs in the intestine, leading to major damage to the body. Some of these intestinal parasites can even be fatal and hence should not be ignored.

Can you overdose a puppy on Wormer?

When trying to deworm our pet, we often forget to weigh it, or we do not do so and simply refer to what we think its weight is, or what its weight was when it was last dewormed. This is the main reason that can lead you to underdose or, even worse, to overdose your dog.

Yes she sure can. It can take up to 1 week to rid the first round of worms in her system. Then as the worms in her system go through their 2 week life cycle (from baby worms to adult worms that you see in the poop) they should be treated again as a re-emergence of worms is seen.
