Are worms in dogs visible?
Adult worms can usually be seen with the naked eye in the stool versus eggs, which require a microscope. For this reason, we highly recommend making an appointment with your veterinarian if you suspect roundworms in dogs, in order to obtain an accurate diagnosis.
How do dogs look when they have worms?
A bloated belly or generally “unhealthy” appearance. A dull, dry coat. Excessive scooting and chewing at their bottom. Visible segments that look like grains of rice attached to the fur around their bottom or on their tail (or in their feces)
