【Expert answer】
Any Q

We also advise not to give multiple treatments at the same time. You should leave 2 weeks between administering spot-on treatment (e.g. Advocate) and a worming tablet (e.g. Milbemax).

How long should you leave between worming and flea treatment?

Whilst our motto is “When it arrives in the post, it's time to dose” we recommend a 48-hour gap between the application of topical flea and worm treatment. It does not matter which order the products are applied. The 48 hours simply allows each product to dry sufficiently.

Can I give my dog heartworm and flea medicine at the same time?

No more sticky, smelly topicalls. It can be given at the same time as their monthly Heartgard- ONCE-a- MONTH! They are so easy to give, dogs think they are treats. For cats, we recommend Vectra, a once-a-month flea prevention, or Frontline for fleas and ticks.

Do fleas and worms go together?

Fleas and worms are closely linked as the lifecycle of certain worms that affect our pets involve fleas harbouring worm eggs in their gut. That said, if an animal doesn't have fleas, it doesn't mean it doesn't have worms as not all worm life cycles involve the flea.

When should you worm and flea a dog?

You should de-flea and worm your pet once a month. Not only will this prevent them from experiencing the side effects of either condition, but it'll allow your pet to be completely protected and free from suffering.
