Currently, we recommend monthly deworming for all dogs in the summer months. If we have milder winters or if you have very young children, we may recommend deworming monthly all year round. There are several other types of parasitic worms as well (hookworms, whipworms). This is where the fecal test can be useful.


What happens if you dont deworm dog?

The worms remain hidden away, deep in your pet's guts. Your pet could be playing, sleeping and eating just fine, but inside he may have worms feeding, growing and multiplying.

How do I know if my dog need deworming?

If you see worms in the stool – it is common to be able to see worms or fragments of worms in the stool. This is the most obvious sign that your pet needs a dewormer, many worms look like spaghetti or rice.
