So, although many greyhounds will make friends with cats, rabbits and other small animals, it is best not to expect that yours will automatically be or become best buddies with other furry family members, including small dogs. Some greyhounds are fine with all large dogs, but get on poorly with small ones. Then there are those who are fantastic with all dogs, and cats, as well. And some greyhounds need to be in homes where they are the only dog. In general, greyhounds tend to get along with any dog who isn’t constantly after them to play.
