Roundworms measure anywhere between three to five inches long and look like spaghetti noodles. They steal nutrients from the food your cat ingests. The worms then produce eggs, which are eliminated through the feces. On occasion, you may be able to see the roundworms moving around in your cat's poop or vomit.
Do roundworms move in poop?
It often lives in human feces (poop). People catch it through hand-to-mouth contact. If you have a roundworm infection of your intestines (ascariasis), you may not have symptoms. You may see live worms in your poop though.

You may notice adult roundworms in your cat's feces or vomit. They will appear white or light brown in color and may be several inches long.

Roundworms move through the host's internal environment by thrashing their bodies using long muscles which only allow the parasite to move laterally. Roundworms cannot crawl.

Tapeworm infections are usually diagnosed by finding segments—which appear as small white worms that may look like grains of rice or seeds—on the rear end of your cat, in your cat's feces, or where your cat lives and sleeps.
