You should de-flea and worm your pet once a month. Not only will this prevent them from experiencing the side effects of either condition, but it'll allow your pet to be completely protected and free from suffering.
What happens if I dont worm my dog?
If left untreated, worms can damage your dog's internal organs and lead to loss of consciousness and death. If you suspect that your dog has worms, take it to your nearest veterinary office. Most intestinal worms are easy to treat and your veterinarian will prescribe a medication based on the diagnosis.
Do I need to flea and worm my puppy?
Puppies should be wormed every 2 weeks until they are 12 weeks old. After 12 weeks, your puppy can benefit from receiving regular flea and worm treatment from Protect My Pet through your letterbox.
How often should you worm & flea a dog?
Adult cats/dogs should be wormed every 3 months (4 times yearly), cats who are hunters should be wormed more frequently. This is especially important in families with young children to reduce the risk of health problems.
Can you give dogs flea and worm treatment together?
If Frontline is used, then worming is advised every 1-3 months. This is because Frontline is not effective against any worms. We also advise not to give multiple treatments at the same time. You should leave 2 weeks between administering spot-on treatment (e.g. Advocate) and a worming tablet (e.g. Milbemax).
