What temperature is best for drying clothes?

The best dryers are capable of drying your clothes quickly at a temperature that is hot, but not so hot that it scorches or damages them. Temperatures under 150°F are gentle enough to get the clothes dry without causing harm. In recent years, we've measured dryer temperatures as low as 123°F and as high as 176°F.

Should I dry on medium heat?

The medium heat setting is ideal for baby clothes and if your tumble dryer has a delicate setting, use that for your little ones' items. Use hypoallergenic, non-scented dryer sheets to avoid baby clothes becoming static.

Should you dry on low temp?

Using a low heat setting is always going to be your safest option for any item that you dry, the only downside is it will increase the time that it takes to dry. Gentle items such as wool and nylon in particular will shrink in the dryer so using a low temperature on these items is a must.
