What do roundworms in poop look like?
Roundworms look like spaghetti and may be several inches long. Tapeworms aren't usually seen in dog poop, but their egg sacs, which look like grains of rice, can be found in dog poop or sticking to a dog's behind.
Can you see round worms in human poop?
In most people, a roundworm infection does not cause any noticeable symptoms. People most commonly see their doctor because they have seen a worm in their faeces (stools). Roundworms are the only worms found in human faeces that are roughly the size of an earth worm.
What looks like worms in stool?
Pinworms are also called “threadworms.” They're the most common type of intestinal worm infection in the U.S., and one of the most common in the world. They're thin and white, and about one-quarter to one-half inch long -- about as long as a staple. Tapeworms are flat worms that look a bit like ribbons.

If you have a roundworm infection of your intestines (ascariasis), you may not have symptoms. You may see live worms in your poop though.
