At what time deworming should be done?
Because worms are so common in puppies, vets recommend de-worming them for the first time when they're 2 to 3 weeks old. Worms can pass from mother to baby before birth or soon after, through their milk. It will take more than one dose. The first round kills the worms that are there at the time.

Deworming is most effective when done on an empty stomach. So if you want the medicine to kill the worms, take it on an empty stomach.
Can I give dewormer at night?
Generally, there is no best 'time' to give your dog worm treatment but there is a best 'moment' and that is right after eating a good meal. Worm treatments can on occasion upset a dog's stomach similarly to how antibiotics can do the same to humans on an empty stomach.
