In the United States, Idaho topped the ranking of leading potato producing states, with an annual production amount of about 129 million cwt of potatoes in 2021. Washington and Wisconsin were the next largest producers with production amounting to about 93.3 million cwt and 29 million cwt, respectively in that year.
