You can groom your short-haired Dachshund by brushing its coat 1-2 times a week and bathing it once a month. To brush your Dachshund, use a hard rubber brush to remove any dead hair. Then, gently rub the top of its fur with a silk scarf, if you have one, to add shine to its coat.
