The Saluki Club of America does not operate adoptions from this website. . Many local Saluki clubs have dedicated folks who attempt to place dogs that have lost their homes. They may have been picked up by the local animal shelters. Their owners may be forced to move to homes which do not permit pets. Adopting From Public Animal Shelters and Humane Societies Salukis are rarely found here. Saluki Rescue groups keep their eyes peeled on shelters and humane societies across the country. On the off chance that a Saluki turns up at a shelter, the rescue group typically moves in quickly to take the dog.
