How should I cook sweet potatoes for my dog?
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into 1 inch cubes. Place the cubes into a pot of boiling water (do not use salt when cooking sweet potatoes for dogs). Boil them on a medium heat for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender. Drain out the water, then place the sweet potatoes in a pot and mash them well.

When feeding your dog a sweet potato, make sure it's cooked and that the skin is removed; leaving the skin on makes it harder for your dog to digest.
