Do dogs like human food better?

A dog's digestive system is different from a human's. Typical human food is much too rich and fatty for a dog to properly digest; eating it can lead to vomiting, diarrhea and even more severe conditions like pancreatitis. Many human foods also contain an unhealthy amount of sodium for dogs.

Why do dogs like table food more than dog food?

This may be because they don't like the food they are eating or they are simply not getting enough. Making sure your dog is eating enough, has a proper diet, and has enough weight on their body is important for their wellbeing.

Why do dogs crave human food?

In addition to having receptors for familiar tastes like sweet, salt, sour, and bitter, dogs have specific taste receptors for meats, fats and meat-related chemicals. They even have taste buds for water!

Is dry food or human food better for dogs?
