Is it bad to feed your dog at different times?
Dogs should eat at least two meals each day, about 12 hours apart. But a breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule is an equally great option. If more than 12 hours elapses between meals, the stomach can become hyperacidic causing nausea.
Is it better to feed my dog early or late?
You should not feed puppies too late in the evening, and we would recommend sticking to the three hour rule. You should feed puppies 3-4 hours before bedtime, so that they can burn off their food, and it gives them time to poop or pee.
Should I feed both dogs at the same time?
Set Feeding Times Feed both dogs at the same time of day, but still cater to the alpha dog of the two (or more), by putting its food down first. As long as both dogs eat the same food, and will finish their meal all at once, there shouldn't be any problems.
What is the best time to feed a dog?
Ideally, your dog should exercise about an hour before each meal. For example, if your first walk of the day is at 7a. m., the first meal of the day should come at 8 a.m. Similarly, an evening walk - finishing at 6pm - would be followed by dinner at 7pm.
