Lurchers are loyal dogs who form a very strong bond with their owners. They're trustworthy, gentle dogs whose temperament varies massively depending on the contributory breeds within the crossing.

What age do Lurchers calm down?

What exactly do you mean by calming down? Mine have all been at their worst behaviour wise from around 12-18 months to be honest. But they've not magically changed at 18 months,it's been more of a gradual maturing.

Do Lurchers sleep a lot?

For every hour my lurcher is on his feet, he will spend three hours sleeping it off. They are adorable! From their bright glossy eyes, their pricked up ears, and their big goofy noses to their long, swishy waggy tails, lurchers are hard not to fall head over heels with once you get to know one personally.
