Feathered salukis have long, silky hair on their ears, under their tail, between their toes and sometimes on the backs of the limbs and under the throat, with the rest of the coat short and soft.
What is the difference between a Saluki and a Greyhound?
While the Saluki will not usually do well in an apartment, the Greyhound can adapt to life in a small space. This is because, while he is an incredibly fast animal, he spends the vast majority of his time laying on the sofa and it doesn't matter what size room that sofa is in. He is also known for being a silent dog.
Are Salukis cuddly?
The right Owner for a Saluki should know that this pupper isn't enthusiastically cuddly. And they won't be immediately engaged in the training process. Their distractibility and aloofness can be off putting to some potential Owners.
Can Salukis be aggressive?

Salukis are known to be gentle, quite sensitive and sometimes reserved, often aloof with strangers. They need weekly brushing, but their longer feathering will need grooming more regularly to prevent their coats from becoming matted.
