Panacur is packaged as a powder and needs to be given by mouth daily for 3-5 days. It is very important that the entire dose be consumed and that the treatments be given daily for consecutive days. Treatment should be repeated 2 to 4 times per year as natural reinfection with worms can re-occur. More frequent treatment at 6 to 8 weekly intervals is advisable for dogs in kennels.

Panacur Liquid Suspension & Granules Puppies should be wormed every two weeks from 2 weeks of age until 12 weeks of age, and then every month until the puppy is 6 months of age when they can be treated as adults (wormed every 3 months).
