Do you have to register a dog in NSW?
Your dog or cat must be registered by the time it's 6 months old, unless it is exempt. Registration is valid for the lifetime of the pet. If a dog or cat changes owners, there's no need to register the pet again in NSW or pay an additional registration fee.
