We are relatively new dog owners and are still getting to know our rescue lurcher, and I have been thinking about whether it would be a good .


Can Lurchers live with other dogs?

Greyhounds and Lurchers are strong, muscular dogs, with a keen eye and a talent for sprinting. They usually get on well with other dogs but will instinctively chase cats and small animals. And being so fast, they may be quick enough to catch them!

Are Lurchers high maintenance?

They're low maintenance and easy to get along with Independent and non-territorial, they're unlikely to bark at the door and may not even be bothered to get up to greet your visitors. And, while they may be large dogs, they're agile and graceful and won't get under your feet.

Are Lurchers good first time dogs?

Nowadays, Lurchers are becoming very popular as they make exceptional family dogs. They are generally good with children, gentle, loving, very affectionate and loyal.

Do Lurchers like cuddles?
